It is the beginning of the season and a long weekend is coming to an end. It is a warm June afternoon and we are invited to the beautiful surroundings of Kouros Village located right at the front seaside of Antiparos.
Rebekka is preparing for her last, of a 3 day, yoga session at the hotel, where she has had participants from Greece, Finland, Norway, Scotland and Sweden - in ages from 16 up to 65, offering two yoga sessions pr day: morning and evening for two hours including meditation.
Iliada from Kouros Village has been part of setting up this event and the girls have created the perfect yoga environment behind the hotel. A area with soft, warm sand, aloe vera and lavender plants right by the sea, that all together by it self creates a perfect oasis to relax, clear your mind and breath!
Not to forget Lucky, the beautiful black cat who also wants to be part of today's yoga class!
Rebekka is from Greece and have practiced yoga from 2008 and have daily practice for 4 years. She has a deep love and respect for yoga, finding it empowers her with strength, tranquility and make her more conscious. This becomes visual during her course as well. She is a very comfortable coach whom leaves room for everyone. Weather you are a beginner or more experienced in yoga, she makes you relax in her sessions and feel confident in every exercise. You can tell how the participants are relaxing around her as her voice guides them in their breathing and correct movements. She is a professional all the way, helping each and every one with their poses.
She comes from an Ashtanga background and this powerful practice has influenced the dynamic flow classes she now teaches.
Rebekka is open to and explores all styles and methods (Hatha, Vinyasa, Jivamukti, Rocket Yoga) and has travelled and meditated extensively in search of amazing teachers to help expand her experience.
Swaha studio appears dynamically in her life in 2015. Following her teachers’ advice, she did her 350hr Teacher (Hatha, Vinyasa and Gentle Yoga) 200 RYT. A few months later she becomes one of Swaha’s teachers.
In the meantime, she continues her training by practicing yoga and attending yoga seminars in Greece and London (Triyoga, Sangye') , with exceptional teachers like: Todd Tesen, Ursula Scott, Aram Raffy, Janet McKay, Jean Hall, Cat Alip Douglas.
We warmly recommend you sign up to take part of this event. In our opinion it blends perfectly well together with your vacation on Antiparos. Rebekka's philosophy is that all one needs to do yoga is to have a little courage and lots of fun!
-So embrace the moment and take some time only for you during her next session. We guarantee you will enjoy it!
"Maintain the breath, maintain the flow. The rest is practice!"
Next session will take place 21 -23 July at Kouros Village. Please follow Rebekka Yoga on Facebook for more information on her classes or visit her website http://gogoureb.wixsite.com/mysite/home or https://www.antiparosyoga.com/
